Direction as a productivity variable
Most offices are laid out by furniture fit. Vastu treats seating as a functional variable: certain directions support concentrated execution, others support negotiation and outward communication, and others support authority.
A practical zoning approach
Leadership is generally placed to sit facing north or east with solid support behind. Finance and accounts work best in a stable, enclosed zone. Sales and business development benefit from an outward-facing, active zone near the entry side.
Meeting rooms should feel contained rather than exposed, with the host seat positioned so that visitors face the entry.

If only one change is possible, correct the leadership seat first. It has a disproportionate effect on the direction of the whole organisation.
